Accounting Associate (Payments)

We are looking for an Accounting Associate – Payments to join our team and support the timely and accurate processing of payment transactions and related accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process and validate payment transactions and requests.
• Check payment documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper approvals.
• Prepare and record accounting entries related to payments.
• Perform reconciliation of payment transactions and accounting records.
• Monitor and follow up on pending, returned, or unreconciled transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organized payment and accounting records.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules related to payment transactions.
• Coordinate with internal units regarding payment discrepancies and documentation requirements.
• Assist with month-end accounting activities and other assigned accounting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
• Preferably with experience in accounting, accounts payable, payments processing, or reconciliation.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with good numerical and analytical skills.
• Able to work accurately under time-sensitive deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
