Accounting / Audit Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting / Audit Supervisor is responsible for supervising accounting and audit engagements, reviewing financial statements and audit working papers, ensuring tax compliance, and guiding staff to ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise accounting and audit engagements and monitor work progress.
• Review financial statements, accounting records, tax returns, and audit working papers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Supervise, guide, and review the performance of accounting and audit staff.
• Coordinate with clients regarding accounting records, audit requirements, and tax compliance matters.
• Ensure timely completion of client deliverables and submission of required reports.
• Identify accounting discrepancies, audit findings, and areas for improvement.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.

About you

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA).
• At least three (3) years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
• Knowledgeable in financial statement preparation and review, tax compliance, and audit procedures.
• Capable of reviewing audit working papers and supervising staff.
• Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
