Accounting Clerk

Accounts Payable Clerk Quick learner with good computer skills needed to handle and assist with the accounts payable process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing:

• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they match purchase orders and receiving reports, if applicable.

• Code invoices for proper accounting entry.

• Enter invoices into the accounting system.

• Petty Cash and Expense Reimbursement processing

• Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and related documents.

• Communication and Collaboration:

• Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal staff regarding invoices and payments.

• Communicate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues.

• Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation.

• Other Duties:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Maintain knowledge of accounting principles.

Requirements

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficient
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting /payables processing

Compensation And Benefits

• $36,000-$38,000
• PTO accrual starts immediately.
• 401(k) plan with up to 4% match after waiting period
