Accounting Clerk (Entry-Level)

Location: Houston, Texas Job Type: Full-Time Pay: Hourly

About the Role

No prior accounting experience required, we provide the training. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience and build your accounting career with Gulf of America Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and customer payments
• Prepare payments and create invoices
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with reports and month-end close
• Support the accounting team and learn every day

Qualifications

• Coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus, but not required
• Coursework such as ACCT 2301 – Principles of Financial Accounting is preferred, but not required
• Basic Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
• Strong communicator and team player
• Reliable, professional, and able to meet deadlines
