Accounting Clerk

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Create customer invoices within Microsoft GP and submit the invoices to the customer per the Purchase order.
• Address customer concerns or questions on the invoice and follow-up on the payment status.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files
• Accurately apply sales tax based on customer's locale and exception status
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime may be required during peak periods (e.g., month-end, year-end).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
