What they need
- Review accounting transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash management activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and review financial reports, schedules, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide requested documentation.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and investigate and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor tax-related accounting activities and coordinate with the relevant tax team or advisors.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required.
- Improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to accounting staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial and operational issues.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned by management.
