At Acuity Analytics, we are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented individual who is comfortable performing a variety of administrator functions.

As an Accountant in Acuity Analytics, some of your Main Tasks will be to:

• Assist in the financial statement close and accounting operations for the international entities Assist in the preparation / reconciliation of financial statements monthly
• Prepare and enter month-end journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly revenue entries – includes calculation of fees for approx. 20 funds / customers
• Participate in the quarterly reviews and annual audit process for international entities
• Ensure the international entities adhere to corporate accounting policies
• Coordinate with the U.S. accounting team and other subsidiaries to ensure transactions are recorded accurately
• Other projects and duties as needed

General Responsibilities:

• Implement and act in accordance with Acuity Knowledge Partners’ Information Security Policy.
• Identify risks when working with external parties.
• Ensure information security when dealing with customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior public accounting experience preferred (Big 4 or Large Regional)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
• Experience with international entities, statutory reporting and foreign currency translation strongly preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• Acute attention to accuracy and detail
• Must be sharp, articulate, and highly motivated
• Ability to prioritize activities while working on multiple projects to achieve target deadlines
• Must be a team player
• Highly proficient in using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft office programs
• NetSuite general ledger experience a plus

• Internal:
• Interact with the respective team, reporting to his/her team lead and manager.
• Receive instructions and seek clarification, if required.
• External:
• Interact directly with clients.
