About the role

This is an accounting role responsible for managing financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, modern trade and marketplace settlements, import accounting, inventory accounting, and tax compliance in accordance with Thai regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable: process invoices, monitor payment terms, follow up on overdue receivables, and perform regular balance confirmations with counterparties
• Reconcile bank statements against the accounting system; investigate and clear unmatched, suspense, and in-payment items
• Handle modern trade accounts (Tops/Central Food Retail, Villa Market): prepare and verify complete billing documents, reconcile deductions, trade discounts, listing fees, and penalties, and follow payment cycles
• Reconcile marketplace settlements (Lazada, TikTok Shop, Shopee): match platform reports to shipments and bank receipts; record commissions, fees, and returns
• Import accounting: goods receipts, landed cost allocation per shipment, foreign exchange differences, customs documentation
• Inventory accounting: monitor stock movements, participate in physical counts, investigate discrepancies between warehouse and books
• Handle petty cash, employee advances, and staff expense claims
• Compute and file taxes accurately and on time in compliance with Thai regulations: PND3, PND53, PP30, PP36, PND54
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing; maintain the fixed asset register
• Support internal and external auditors with timely, accurate information

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Thai nationality
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Thai GAAP, NPAE, and TFRS; hands-on experience with Thai statutory filings (VAT, Withholding Tax)
• Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, handling exports of several thousand rows
• Experience with any ERP system and willingness to learn Odoo
• High attention to detail, discipline, and the ability to handle a high volume of reconciliations while meeting deadlines
• Fluent Thai; basic English (correspondence, supplier documents)
• Experience in a trading or distribution business: import, inventory, consignment, online sales, and retail chain accounting is advantageous
• Odoo experience is advantageous
