ACCOUNTING

JOB TITLE: Accounting
SALARY: RM1,800 – RM3,500
LOCATION: Kajang, Selangor

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable balances and follow up on outstanding items.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare schedules and documentation required for audit, tax, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded and comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Assist in budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis when required.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretarial personnel, suppliers, customers, and relevant internal departments.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the superior or management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with accounting systems such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Good analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting and statutory requirements**.**
• Experience in preparing full sets of accounts is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SST, tax matters, audit requirements, and e-Invoicing is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia**; additional languages Chinese are an advantage.**
