Role & responsibilities - Immediate joiner only

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities
• Handle accounting entries, ledger scrutiny, accounts payable and receivables
• Perform bank, ledger and other relevant reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closure activities
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required information and

documentation

• Support applicable taxation, regulatory and statutory compliance requirements
• Monitor accounting controls and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Work closely with business and cross-functional teams on accounting-related matters
• Support other accounting activities and requirements as assigned

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 56 years of overall experience in Finance & Accounts
• Strong accounting background with sound knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience in handling end-to-end accounting activities
• Good understanding of reconciliations, accounting controls and audit processes
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
• Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related field
