Accounting Controller with French

Reporting to the Cluster Legal Statutory, the role covers several accounting domains.

Being a part of our Business Center of Excellence, the overall objective is to provide reliable financial data and analysis.

Your responsibilities

• Support monthly financial closing activities for European factories.
• Prepare quarterly closing packages, including OBSC, Leases, Tax, Audit, Treasury, and R&D.
• Perform quarterly and annual SOx controls.
• Analyze and post entries related to suspense accounts and prepare cash-out forecasts in the Treasury portal.
• Monitor POs (AMEX, OCAS, R&D) during the monthly closing process.
• Oversee IFRS16 contracts, leases, and OBSC agreements, including provisions and RE-FX postings.
• Calculate roll consumption for monthly closing.
• Integrate HR-related entries, including SOx controls, staff cost recharges, mark-ups, KB21N capex, and steelshop allocations.
• Prepare and execute annual closing tasks
• Calculate added value and prepare tax declarations (TF, TVTS, etc.) in cooperation with the Tax Department.
• Conduct rolling inventories of fixed assets.
• Participate in statutory, internal, CSE, URSSAF, and tax audits.

Our requirements

• Hybrid working system: 1-2 days in the office per week
• Fluency in French (B2+/C1) and English on at least B2 level
• Experience in monthly and quarterly closures and controls
• Experience in audits and tax controls
• Experience in cooperation with international factories
