Accounting Coordinator

About the role:

This is a three-month (potentially longer) temporary contract based in Rosedale, for an experienced accounts professional to join a well-established international organisation and make an immediate impact.

You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, with a strong focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, billing support, cashflow management and stakeholder management. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing vendor invoices and ensuring correct coding and approvals
• Managing supplier payments and reconciling vendor statements
• Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
• Onboarding new vendors and maintaining supporting documentation
• Reviewing outstanding accounts payable reports and resolving discrepancies
• Assisting with cash flow management and finance administration
• Supporting billing activities for assigned customers
• Responding to accounts payable and accounts receivable queries
• Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About you:

• 5+ years' accounts/finance support experience
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
• Experience with Workday and Cargowise would be advantageous
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
