Accounting - Cost Analyst

What you'll do:

1. Project Cost Analysis & Costing

• Review and analyze project cost sheets for sales and construction projects to ensure cost accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze project costs and classify costs in accordance with the Chart of Accounts (COA).
• Monitor and analyze actual project costs against budget and estimated costs, and identify cost variances and key cost drivers.
• Prepare project cost analysis, feasibility studies, and financial analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain standard costing and cost assumptions for products and projects.
• Prepare monthly and annual project cost reports and cost variance analysis for management.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve project cost efficiency and profitability.

2. Project Budget & Cost Control

• Monitor and control project budgets and cost utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track and analyze project performance, budget vs. actual costs, and cost-to-complete.
• Review and control project cost movements and ensure costs are properly recorded and aligned with approved budgets.
• Prepare CAPEX and OPEX budget utilization and variance reports.
• Identify potential cost overruns and cost control issues, and coordinate with relevant teams to improve cost management.
• Participate in developing and improving project cost control processes and systems to increase accuracy and efficiency.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in External Audit, budget control or project management.
• Knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and project planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with SAP, ERP systems, or Power BI is a plus.
• Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work well in a team.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under pressure.
