ACCOUNTING EXECUTIVE (GENERAL LEDGER)

About the role

BOB Performance & Accessories Inc is seeking an experienced Accounting Executive (General Ledger) to join our Financial Accounting & Reporting team. This is a full-time position based in Santa Maria, Bulacan, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate general ledger records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the broader financial accounting operations of the organisation. This position is critical to maintaining the integrity of our financial statements and supporting informed business decision-making across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing within required deadlines.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and relevant government agencies when required.
• Support management with financial information and analysis.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience handling a full set of accounts.
• Good knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong time management skills and able to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and well-organised.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
