Halluminate is an applied AI and data company working with frontier Labs to train Financial Services Super Intelligence. We do this by building high quality computer and tool-use RL (Reinforcement Learning) gyms to train AI agents that do work across financial services verticals.

Role Description:

Halluminate is hiring part-time Financial Services Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with a strong accounting foundation. We're looking for candidates with backgrounds in corporate accounting, financial reporting, audit, tax, general ledger, or technical accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Helping the team identify and prioritize roadmap based on real world accounting and technical reporting experience
• Creating training materials for AI systems (ex. journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement exercises)
• Designing problems to test state of the art AI agents on accounting workflows such as GAAP application, close processes, and reporting accuracy
• Working with frontier engineering and research teams to implement and evaluate AI systems on real world accounting tasks

Necessary Skills:

• Attention to detail
• Strong grounding in accounting fundamentals (GAAP, financial statements, reconciliations) with proficiency in Excel
• Organization and ability to own deadlines
• Willingness to learn technical concepts in machine learning, AI, data, and engineering

Qualifications:

• Actively enrolled in an MBA or Master of Accounting program, or graduated from one within the last 5 years
• 2+ years of full-time, hands-on experience in Accounting, Corporate Accounting, or Financial Reporting roles (internships do not qualify)

Location: Fully Remote

Compensation:

• Hourly: $100/hour - $200/hour, reached after training completion
• $3,000+ for training as milestone payments
• Bonuses paid out for above average performance or stellar contributors
