Accounting Generalist

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related position.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with accounting software.

• Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and general ledger processes.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Trustworthy, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

• CPA license is an advantage but not required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Manage income and expenditure accounts efficiently and accurately
• Ensure timely billing and collections: coordinate with the clients for payments and follow-ups.
• Verify supplier invoices, terms, and monitor payment schedules to avoid penalties or delays.
• Process monthly payroll
• Ensure timely remittance of SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG, and BIR Withholding tax.
• Prepare monthly and annual tax filings (VAT, EWT, ITR, etc.)
• Manage BIR fieldwork, attend to assessments
• Other responsibility will discuss upon signing contract.
