Accounting Head

Job Summary

We are looking for a detailed-oriented and strategic Head of Accounting to manage and oversee all accounting operations within our organization. In this role, you will lead the accounting team, manage general ledger operations, oversee financial reporting, and ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, preparing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Direct daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax filings, statutory reporting, and financial regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal accounting controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to safeguard company assets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and work closely with executive leadership on budgeting and cash flow management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership or management role.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• Expert knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, proficiency in enterprise accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Quickbooks), and strong analytical and leadership skills.
