Accounting Head

About the role:

We are looking for a highly organized, analytical, and results-driven Accounting Head to lead our accounting team and oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, compliance with accounting standards and government regulations, and effective internal controls.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Accounting Department and its day-to-day operations.
• Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate and communicate with BIR officers regarding tax compliance, inquiries, assessments, audits, and other related matters.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting schedules.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accountancy or bachelor's degree in accounting-related field.
• CPA is an advantage.
• With at least 10 years of extensive accounting experience, preferably with managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Familiarity with Philippine accounting standards and BIR requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
