Accounting Head

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the accounting department and accounting staff.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), payroll, and other accounting functions.
• Review and approve accounting entries, invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and other financial accounts.
• Review bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting controls and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and government requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, suppliers, and other third parties.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management decision-making.
• Monitor accounting policies and recommend improvements to financial processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and safekeeping of accounting records.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Train, coach, and evaluate accounting personnel.
• Identify financial risks, discrepancies, and control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
