ACCOUNTING HEAD

About the role

Oversee the company's accounting operations, treasury and cash flow management, financial reporting, payroll, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Accounting Department
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze revenues, expenditures, profitability, and budget variances
• Prepare monthly Production Reports, Profit & Loss vs. Budget, Operating Expense Schedules, and Salary & Wages Schedules
• Prepare weekly collection reports and review sales reports
• Monitor aging of receivables and reconcile customer accounts
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely salary payments
• Review filing and payment of BIR tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team

About you

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of increasing experience in accounting, including a supervisory role
• Experience handling government statutory compliance and remittances
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience using Business Central ERP and online banking platforms is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba for compliance and other related digital financial platforms
• Knowledge with Microsoft Business Central – Financial management system
