About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Head to join Radtelcom Technologies Corporation in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing all financial accounting and reporting functions within the organisation. As Accounting Head, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial insights to support strategic business decisions. This position is integral to the company's financial health and operational transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and financial reconciliations
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
• Manage and supervise the accounting team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development
• Establish and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy
• Conduct regular financial analysis and variance reporting to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for cost optimisation
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate submissions
• Develop and manage the annual accounting budget and financial forecasts
• Implement and maintain accounting systems and software to enhance efficiency and data integrity
• Provide financial guidance and support to senior management for strategic planning and decision-making

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Minimum of 8–10 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of financial accounting, reporting standards (IFRS or GAAP), and local Philippine tax regulations
• Proven expertise in managing accounting operations, including financial consolidation and audit coordination
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing accounting team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial documentation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements
• Knowledge of telecommunications or technology industry accounting practices is a plus
