Accounting Head

Are you a BS in Accountancy graduate with at least two (2) years of related experience in a supervisory/management role.? Join the Royal Cable family as our Accounting Head.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience.
• Must have at least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.

Job Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and government regulations.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.

• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal control procedures.

• Review payroll accounting (limited access), tax filings, and statutory remittances.

• Prepare financial reports and analyses for management decision-making.

• Train, supervise, and evaluate accounting staff performance.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of all regulatory and compliance reports to government agencies.
• Review and approve journal entries, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Monitor aging of receivables and payables and recommend appropriate actions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Maintain accurate and updated accounting records and documentation.
• Ensure proper implementation and monitoring of accounting systems and software.
• Safeguard company assets through proper monitoring and internal controls.
• Handle confidential financial Information with integrity and professionalism.
• Tasks that may be assigned by the CFO related to their job description.
• Prepare and present financial and operational reports to CFO, management and the Board.
• Advise management on financial implications of pricing, expansion, and investment decisions.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Accounting Department.
• Stay informed and updated on all regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing long-term financial strategies.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Compliance to the Company Code of Discipline, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 27001:2022 (ISMS), Non-Disclosure Agreement & Data Privacy Act (Republic Act No. 10173), and other regulatory and statutory benefits compliance.
