Position Summary

Taiki USA Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting/Import Staff to support tariff filing activities, import-related documentation, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Excel skills, a solid understanding of import processes, and the ability to learn new responsibilities quickly with minimal supervision. This position offers long-term career opportunities within accounting or other business functions as company needs evolve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain tariff filing documentation and related records.
• Support import and trade compliance activities and ensure accurate documentation of international transactions.
• Analyze tariff, customs, and import-related data using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customs brokers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and applicable import/export regulations.
• Assist with accounting and administrative functions assigned.
• Generate reports and perform data analysis to support management decision-making.
• Support cross-functional projects related to supply chain, logistics, trade compliance, and finance.

Qualifications

· Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheets.
• Basic knowledge of import procedures, customs documentation, and international trade processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and become independently productive within a short training period.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Accounting degree or at least 2 years’ accounting work experience.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience in manufacturing, import/export, distribution, or trading companies.
• Familiarity with tariff classification, customs compliance, and international trade regulations.
• Experience working with inventory, procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
• Quick learner with strong adaptability
• Authorized to work in the U.S

Physical Demand

· Prolonged periods of sitting while working at a desk and computer.

· Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, calculator, and other office equipment.

· Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communications.

· Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and retrieve files or documents.

· Ability to lift and carry office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.

· Visual ability to review detailed financial reports, spreadsheets, and electronic data.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
