Accounting Improvement Subsection

About the role

This role supports internal and external stakeholders through providing finance and accounting services as a Subject Matter Expert. You will guide the implementation of Financial Accounting Standards, methodologies, and tools, demonstrating the value of accounting improvement processes aligned with IFRS and local GAAP standards. You will share learning and technical knowledge, ensure compliance in financial operations, and promote accounting best practices to drive business-valued results.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal stakeholders (inside finance organization) and external stakeholders (People & Culture, Strategic Management Office) through providing services needed or as a Subject Matter Expert
• Guide Financial Accounting Standard (ISS Accounting Manual), methodologies, tools (Navision & Onestream) and knowledge repositories for implementation related to practical and methodological finance and accounting terminology/definition/formulation
• Demonstrate and deliver the value result of the accounting improvement process through available accounting standards (IFRS/ISS Accounting Manual/Indonesia GAAP)
• Provide training, accounting technical skill assessment, and interpret changes in Accounting Standards from Company group finance to Finance Controlling
• Communicate the impact of accounting standard changes to business/operation lines directly or through Finance Business Partner
• Ensure compliance and sustainability in Financial Operation
• Participate in financial strategy initiatives
• Promote collaboration and use accounting best practices to drive business or customer-valued results

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (minimum)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in related fields
• Experience in audit or business process improvement
• Solid knowledge of Local GAAP (PSAK) and IFRS Regulations
• Excellent in Management Accounting and Management System
• English proficiency is essential
• Advanced analytical process skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Accounting Software
• Ability to leverage technology to simplify, improve and innovate Finance Process
• Ability to lead stakeholders (peers/functional) and drive performance
