Looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of accounting? Metro Mobilia Corporation is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the day-to-day operations of our finance department, while developing key skills that will set you up for success in your future accounting career.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in the preparation and processing of financial documents
2. Support the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, etc.
3. Perform data entry and administrative tasks to maintain accurate financial records
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data

What we're looking for

1. Currently enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, or related program
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
4. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Eagerness to learn and a proactive mindset
