ACCOUNTING INTERN

About the role

This role involves supporting accounting and administrative functions within the finance department, including data entry, document preparation, and financial record management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system
• Help in preparing vouchers, invoices, and receipts
• Assist in filing and organizing financial documents such as OR, SI, DR, and other records
• Support the preparation of monthly reports (e.g., expense summary, petty cash liquidation)
• Encode and update payables and receivables listings
• Help in monitoring petty cash and preparing replenishment reports
• Assist in bank reconciliation tasks under supervision
• Support payroll preparation by gathering necessary documents (e.g., timesheets, OT forms)
• Perform photocopying, scanning, and document routing as required
• Assist in inventory monitoring and encoding of materials or supplies

About you

• Currently enrolled in BS Accounting, BS Accountancy, BS Accounting Technology, or a related business course
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn
• Able to maintain confidentiality of financial information
