About the role
The Accounting OJT will support the Accounting Department by assisting with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate accounting, taxation requirements, and document management.
Key responsibilities
- Update Manual Books of Accounts, which include the Cash Disbursements Book, Cash Receipts Book, General Journal, and General Ledger.
- Prepare Invoices for sending to Lessees.
- Assist in the tabulation of receipts and invoices from petty cash replenishments and cash advance liquidations.
- Assist in the encoding of value-added tax transactions in the Reconciliation of Listings for Enforcement System (RELIEF) of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
- Assist in the encoding of withholding tax transactions in the Quarterly Alphalist module of the Alphalist Data Entry System of the BIR
- Scan, digitalize, and organize accounting documents.
