Accounting Intern

The Account Intern will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance processes, and assisting in financial reporting. The candidate should have strong attention to detail and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, and credit notes
• Follow up with clients for outstanding payments
• Maintain vendor records and process vendor payments
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations
• Maintain expense sheets and verify bills/vouchers
• Prepare monthly MIS reports
• Assist in GST data preparation and filing support
• Maintain proper documentation and digital records of financial data
• Monitor company expenses and track budgets
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies
• Coordinate internally for purchase entries and expense approvals

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Pursuing or B.Com or relevant degree in Accounting/Finance
• 0 months - 1 year of experience in accounting
• Basic understanding of GST and taxation
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally Prime
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
