Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, ADP, and UltiPro
• Support accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and ensuring timely vendor transactions
• Help manage accounts receivable by tracking incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
• Participate in account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy across various ledgers and statements
• Aid in payroll processing tasks by verifying employee hours and updating payroll records within systems like ADP or Kronos
• Conduct basic account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data
• Assist with budgeting support by compiling relevant financial information for review

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of basic math principles and accounting fundamentals
• Familiarity with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday or PeopleSoft is preferred
• Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to analyze financial data and perform account reconciliation tasks effectively
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and support various accounting functions
