Accounting Intern

We are looking for Accounting Interns to join our team and gain hands-on experience in accounting, finance and data processing. This role is ideal for students who want to apply their accounting knowledge while developing practical skills in data encoding, financial documentation, and accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting activities
• Perform data encoding and data entry of accounting and financial information
• Accurately input, update, and maintain financial records and databases
• Assist in checking and verifying data for completeness and accuracy
• Support the preparation, organization, and filing of accounting documents
• Assist in recording and organizing financial transactions
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable-related tasks
• Support account and bank reconciliation activities, as assigned
• Assist in preparing accounting reports, schedules, and other financial documents
• Organize and maintain physical and digital accounting files
• Assist in gathering, sorting, and validating financial information
• Perform other accounting, encoding, and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related course
• Applicants from other business-related courses are welcome, provided they have taken accounting subjects
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts
• Comfortable performing data entry and repetitive encoding tasks with accuracy
• Detail-oriented and organized, with good attention to accuracy
• Willing to learn and gain hands-on experience in an outsourcing/business services environment
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, dependable, and able to work well with a team
• Must be available to start ASAP
• Preferably with an available and/or ready-to-process Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the school and the company
• Students required to complete an OJT/internship are highly encouraged to apply
