INTERNSHIP COMPENSATION
Rs. 12,500 per month +Rs. 2,000 performance bonus per month, paid quarterly based on performance.

ROLE
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Intern who wants to build practical experience in Finance & Accounts and grow with Matayo.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain day-to-day accounting activities using Zoho Books.
• Prepare and maintain customer invoices and vendor bills.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Follow up with customers for pending payments and outstanding invoices.
• Track vendor payments and payment schedules.
• Support GST calculation, reconciliation and filing preparation.
• Support TDS calculation, payment and filing activities.
• Maintain GST, TDS and other applicable Indian statutory compliance trackers.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and expense management.
• Maintain finance records, supporting documents and MIS.
• Coordinate with CA/Finance consultants for statutory requirements.
• Track payment and compliance deadlines and proactively follow up.

QUALIFICATION

• B.Com / M.Com
• BBA / BBM - Finance
• MBA - Finance
• Other relevant Finance/Accounts qualification
• Freshers are welcome.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE

• Zoho Books
• GST and TDS
• Indian taxation basics
• Accounts Receivable / Payable
• Bank reconciliation
• MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Invoicing and payment follow-up

AI USAGE
Matayo supports responsible use of AI tools for productivity. However, candidates must demonstrate independent thinking, practical understanding and ownership. Candidates who depend entirely on ChatGPT/Claude for their work or cannot explain their own work will not be suitable for this role.
