Jackson and Coker is hiring an Accounting Intern for Summer of 2027 . As an Accounting Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced accounting professionals while supporting day-to-day financial operations. Interns receive structured training and exposure to key accounting processes, providing a strong foundation for future careers in accounting and finance.

This internship offers the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment while contributing to projects that support business operations across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Support routine accounting transaction processes, including data entry, account reconciliations, and documentation management.
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports and monthly reporting activities.
• Collaborate with team members to research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting workflows.
• Utilize accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and maintain financial data.
• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Complete special projects and other assignments as needed.

• Knowledge of Basic Accounting Processes.
• Final year student at an accredited college or university preferred.
• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Previous Accounting Internship experience or exposure to an accounting discipline preferred.
