Accounting Inventory

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Inventory professional to join our team on a full-time basis in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This role is pivotal to our operations, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the integrity of our financial and inventory data. Your work will directly support the efficiency of our supply chain and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation. This position requires someone who can balance multiple priorities whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining and updating inventory records in our accounting systems with precision and accuracy
• Conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure records match physical stock levels
• Processing inventory transactions, including receipts, adjustments, and stock movements
• Identifying and investigating inventory discrepancies and variances, documenting findings and recommendations
• Preparing detailed inventory reports for management and finance teams
• Coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking and documentation
• Assisting with month-end and year-end inventory procedures and reconciliations
• Maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards related to inventory management
• Supporting the procurement and purchasing functions by providing accurate inventory data and analysis
• Utilising inventory management software and accounting systems efficiently and accurately

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in inventory accounting, stock control, or a related accounting role within the manufacturing or logistics sector
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and inventory management systems
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Competency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office applications
• Knowledge of inventory accounting principles, FIFO/LIFO valuation methods, and cost accounting practices
• Outstanding organisational abilities and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Certification such as a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent practical experience)
• Familiarity with procurement and inventory best practices in manufacturing or logistics environments
• Integrity and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and compliance with financial controls
