Accounting Manager (75317)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting and finance function. You will oversee financial closing, reporting, budgeting, taxation, cash flow, and internal controls while ensuring accurate financial information and supporting effective business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and finalize monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Analyze financial KPIs and prepare monthly financial analysis for management.
• Review accounting transactions and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Prepare budgets and monitor budget versus actual performance, including variance analysis.
• Manage tax-related activities and support tax filings and external tax audits.
• Manage fixed assets and ensure accurate depreciation calculations and records.
• Oversee payments, collections, bank transactions, and cash flow control.
• Ensure proper bank reconciliation and supporting documentation.
• Drive and support the implementation of accounting processes and initiatives within the department.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on accounting and financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and BOI requirements.

What we're looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Valid CPD License.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation, reporting, and monthly financial analysis.
• Experience managing cash and bank controls, including document verification, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Knowledge and experience in BOI reporting and compliance.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in costing and inventory control.
• Business-level English communication skills.
