Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial statements. This role will have a strong focus on Financial Statements (FS) review, compliance, and audit coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and ensure accuracy of full set of accounts and Financial Statements (FS) in compliance with MFRS and statutory requirements
• Perform detailed FS review, variance analysis, and reconciliation checks
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for statutory compliance
• Ensure timely submission of tax filings, SST, and other regulatory requirements
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies
• Supervise and guide the accounting team on proper accounting treatments and reporting standards
• Support management with financial insights and reporting accuracy
• Ensure audit readiness and proper documentation for all financial transactions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent) preferred. Good to possess an SSM Licensed Secretary (LS) Licence OR be a qualified member of a prescribed professional body (MAICSA, MACS, MIA, or Bar Council).

• Education: Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Professional Degree in Corporate Administration, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role

• Strong experience in Financial Statements (FS) preparation and review

• Good knowledge of MFRS, Malaysian tax, and statutory compliance

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to review work independently and ensure high-quality output
