Accounting Manager

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee monthly closing of accounts and prepare comprehensive financial/management reports for the Asia Region.
• Perform and review journal postings, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Analyze financial statements, conduct balance sheet schedule reviews, and perform variance analyses.
• Manage inter-company balances, inventory balances, and ICST reconciliations.
• Evaluate, implement, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare and review audit schedules and financial statements for internal/external audit purposes.
• Maintain and upkeep fixed asset, leasing, and insurance schedules.
• Assist in regional taxation, legal compliance, and company secretarial matters as needed.
• Partner closely with the Financial Controller and Senior Manager to resolve branch accounting and operational issues.
• Resolve inter-departmental queries and actively participate in company-wide total quality processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline;
• Over 8 years working experience, including audit and commercial experience, preferably in manufacturing environment with international or multi-subsidiary structures, CPA is preferred
• Good knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good analytical skills with attention to details
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, such as Word and Excel
• Knowledge of listed company reporting requirements is an added advantage
• Willing to travel overseas is preferred
