About the role

This is an accounting role responsible for managing full-cycle accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, and payroll entries
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account closings and prepare complete financial statements, including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
• Prepare and file all statutory tax returns on time, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and annual payroll tax filings
• Solid understanding of project costing and cost allocation methodologies for project-based businesses
• Capability to prepare project-level profitability reports (Cost Sheet vs. Actual) to support management decision-making
• Liaise with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and resolve audit findings
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and approval workflows
• Support the CFO with budget-versus-actual variance reporting and ad hoc financial analysis
• Manage and develop 1–2 accounting staff members, review their work, and provide coaching
• Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate payroll accounting, provident fund records, and social security filings

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
• At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of Thai GAAP/TFRS, the Thai Revenue Code, VAT, and withholding tax regulations
• Proficiency in ERP, Mango, Peek, SAP B1 or similar systems, plus advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail, strong deadline management, and integrity
• Experience in IT, software, or SaaS accounting is preferred
• Familiarity with TFRS 15 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition is an advantage
• Experience improving month-end closing processes is a plus
• CPD License is a plus
