Accounting Manager

About the role

Lead and oversee the company's accounting and finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, tax compliance, and timely month-end and year-end closing. This role will also manage the accounting team and support continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily accounting and finance operations, including GL, AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets, accruals, and related transactions.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Review financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), tax regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee tax compliance and filings, including VAT, withholding tax (WHT), and corporate income tax (CIT).
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors, tax advisors, banks, and relevant government authorities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to ensure effective operations and strong performance.
• Support ERP/SAP implementation and drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to support financial planning and business decision-making.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in accounting and finance, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, financial reporting, taxation, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Solid understanding of Thai accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Chinese language skills are an advantage.
• CPA or CPD qualification is an advantage.
