Accounting Manager

• Lead and monitor the daily operations of the Accounting Department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting
• Ensure financial reports, reconciliations, schedules, and management requirements are completed accurately and on time
• Set clear deliverables and closely monitor the performance, deadlines, and accountabilities of each accounting function
• Identify delays, discrepancies, and unresolved items early and ensure appropriate corrective action and follow-through
• Establish and enforce proper accounting policies, procedures, documentation, and internal controls
• Review accounting data and financial statements for accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Improve accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and visibility of financial information
• Provide management with timely reports on financial matters, outstanding issues, risks, and required actions

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA strongly preferred
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, with managerial or supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable for deadlines and deliverables
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls
• Highly organized, analytical, and proactive, with strong attention to follow-through
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems and ERP software
• Experience with ERP systems is a strong advantage
• Able to analyze accounting data and use systems effectively to improve monitoring and reporting
