Accounting Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Accounting & Reporting: Manage full-set accounts (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets) and ensure on-time month and year-end closings. Prepare financial and management reports for leadership.
• Budgeting & Analysis: Create, track, and review budgets. Analyze spending differences and suggest ways to save costs.
• Hong Kong Taxation: Handle all HK tax calculations, filings, and compliance (Profits, Salaries, and Stamp Duty).
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a finance team of 5-6 people. Improve daily workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Audits & Internal Control: Act as the main contact for external auditors, tax reps, and banks. Support other departments with financial questions and improve risk controls.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. A professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, or CPA) is highly preferred.
• 5+ years handling full-set accounts, financial consolidation, and HK taxes, plus at least 2 years managing a team. (Background in large, listed, or cross-border companies is a bonus).
• Strong knowledge of HKFRS and local tax laws. Highly skilled in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VBA).
• Excellent spoken and written English. Strong communication and problem-solving skills to work smoothly with other departments.
