ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Accounting Manager with strong leadership skills to oversee financial operations in a fast-paced business environment. This role is responsible for managing the accounting team, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting functions including billing, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing process and ensure timely preparation of financial reports in compliance with GAAP.

• Monitor and analyze cost structures, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with contractual terms and accounting standards.

• Maintain strong internal controls across departments or multiple business units.

• Collaborate with operations and management teams to understand cost drivers and improve financial performance.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Oversee cash flow management and working capital requirements.

• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with local regulations.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Experience in the transportation, logistics, or freight industry is a strong advantage, but not required.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
