Accounting Manager

Conveying and Packaging Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings a decade of hands-on accounting expertise with strong command of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial data while supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end / year-end close processes.
• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Improve and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting roles
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting tools is a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal control frameworks
• Proficiency with accounting softwares / ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skill; experience with financial reporting tools is a plus
• CPA certfication preferred
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non financial stakeholders
