Accounting Manager

About the role

This is a senior accounting position in a manufacturing environment, reporting to the Finance Controller. The role requires hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA financial and manufacturing processes, with responsibility for financial close, tax compliance, fixed asset governance, and internal controls in Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accurate and timely monthly Trial Balance closure (GL, AR, AP, FA, Inventory, Accruals & Provisions)
• Review journal entries and ensure compliance with TFRS / Thai GAAP and group policies
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis
• Support monthly management reporting and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance, documentation, controls and all related matters of VAT, WHT, CIT & BOI
• Transfer pricing documentation and all TP related matters
• Liaise with Thai Revenue Department for audits, assessments, and refunds
• Execute Material Ledger (ML) month-end close including actual costing and inventory revaluation
• Oversee full Fixed Asset lifecycle in SAP S/4HANA including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, BOI tagging, and periodic physical verification
• Act as primary coordinator for statutory, internal, and BOI audits

About you

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; MBA (Finance) preferred
• Valid CPD license (Thailand) mandatory
• Last 10–12 years of manufacturing accounting experience
• 3–5 years hands-on SAP S/4 HANA experience (FI, CO, ML)
• SAP S/4HANA FI & Material Ledger expertise
• Manufacturing costing & variance control
• Thailand tax & BOI compliance
• Audit handling & regulatory liaison
• Strong analytical mindset and high ownership
