Accounting Manager

MAIN PURPOSE

To assist the Sr. Accounting Manager-Lead in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to local management and regional HQ, while ensuring all balance sheet and profit & loss accounts are thoroughly reviewed, reconciled, and maintained in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of end-to-end accounting and finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, and Cost Accounting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across financial records.
• Manage monthly and annual financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with policies and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, K-GAAP, corporate accounting policies, and internal control requirements.
• Support external and internal audits and assist in responding to periodic tax investigations.
• Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns and support corporate tax filings during the year-end closing process.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and management commentary.
• Maintain, optimize, and enhance financial processes within the SAP FI module.
• Provide timely, accurate, and insightful ad hoc financial data and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a medium-to-large multinational organization.
• Proficiency in SAP is required.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant business applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.
