Accounting Manager

About the role

This role involves overseeing and examining accounting work across AR, AP, GL, Bank, Fixed Asset, and Inventory functions. You will manage monthly and annual account closures, prepare and review tax filings and accounting documents, and coordinate with the Revenue Department, accounting offices, and auditors. The position requires reconciliation of revenue, cash flow, and bank statements against the accounting system, as well as managing the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation records.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and examine accounting work for AR, AP, GL, Bank, Fixed Asset, and Inventory
• Manage accounting records and monthly/annual account closures with verification of accuracy and completeness
• Prepare, review, and submit tax filings and accounting documents accurately and on time
• Coordinate with the Revenue Department, accounting offices, and auditors; prepare related documents and information
• Reconcile revenue, cash receipts and payments, bank statements, and accounting system records; track and resolve discrepancies
• Review and advise the accounting team on receivables and payables work; assist with daily operational problem-solving
• Manage the Fixed Asset Register and asset list, including additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations
• Work with the CFO and team to improve workflows, SOPs, and internal controls for accuracy and auditability
• Support development and testing of accounting software and tools such as PEAK, FlowAccount, Express, ERP, OCR, automation, and AI to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
• Help develop the accounting system and team to support increased transaction volume and branch expansion

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Approximately 4 years or more of accounting experience
• At least 1–2 years of experience at Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor level, or experience reviewing and advising accounting team work
• Foundation in closing, tax, and reconciliation with hands-on accounting capability
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, accounting software, and various digital tools; readiness to learn new systems
• CPD (Certified Public Accountant) registration considered a plus
• Experience in clinic, healthcare, or multi-branch business environments considered a plus
