What they need
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timely completion of monthly and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing process, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and other closing activities.
- Supervise the General Ledger, ensuring proper recording, classification, and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Review monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding or reconciling items.
- Lead the cleanup and reconciliation of accounts to maintain accurate and reliable financial records.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance, including preparation and filing of applicable tax returns and statutory requirements.
- Monitor and review Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), gross profit, and other cost-related reports to support effective cost control.
- Provide financial analysis and accounting insights to management to support business decisions and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable financial reporting standards.
