Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager oversees daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, costing, and taxation. This role manages month-end and year-end closing processes, prepares financial statements and management reports, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The position involves coordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities, while monitoring budgets and analyzing financial data to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, costing, and taxation
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes accurately and on time
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash flow reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and related government authorities
• Monitor company budgets, expenses, and financial performance
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Supervise cost accounting and inventory control processes
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and management teams regarding financial and operational matters

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• Minimum 5–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in manufacturing business is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English is preferred
