Accounting Manager

(Guangzhou, China)

Your Mission

Efficiently organize and manage the accounting function in such a way that a reliable and timely administration and periodic reporting is ensured for internal, Group, and external purposes, complying with all statutory, fiscal, Group and operational requirements

What You Will Do

Key tasks:

• 1. Own the full-cycle local GAAP closing process (GL, AP/AR review, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, etc.), ensuring timely and accurate monthly / quarterly / year-end closing.
• 2. Manage intercompany transactions with global entities (royalty fees, service charges, FX hedging, cost sharing), ensuring monthly reconciliation with the regional SSC and proper transfer pricing documentation.
• 3. Oversee all local tax compliance - CIT, VAT, withholding tax, stamp duty, and local / global issurance - and handle tax filings, audits, and inquiries with local authorities.
• 4. Act as the local internal control gatekeeper, enforcing group policeis, statutory requirements, and audit readiness.
• 5. Coordinate with the regional SSC on AR/AP processing, acting as the local escalation point for exceptions and China-specific complexities (e.g. e-invoice rules, supplier dispute resolution).
• 6. Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with commercial and supply chain teams.

Position Requirements

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields;
• 2. 6+ years progressive accounting experiene, with at least 3 years in a full-cycle GL / tax / intercompany role in a MNC or JV environment
• 3. Solid hands-on experience with China GAAP, tax filing, and intercompany reconciliation
• 4. Proactive, self-motivated, with strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
• 5. Fluent in Mandarin and business-level English (written and oral)
• 6. Strong Excel and PBI skills.
