Accounting Manager

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to support the Controller in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls. This role oversees accounting staff, manages the month-end close process, supports budgeting and forecasting initiatives, and drives continuous improvement across accounting processes and systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Lead the monthend and yearend close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple subsidiaries.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate external audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Review and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing coaching and performance management.
• Perform other assigned duties and special projects that support departmental and organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA Designation preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience managing monthend close and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with financial consolidations and multientity accounting preferred
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Ability to pass preemployment screenings including background check, drug screening, and MVR (if applicable).

• This position will work at the corporate office.
• This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment. Occasional extended hours may be required during monthend close, yearend close, audits, budgeting cycles, and other businesscritical periods. Typical corporate office hours are Monday Friday 8 am 5 pm.
