Proventure is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead General Ledger operations within a fast-paced hospitality and gaming environment. This is a key leadership role supporting financial reporting, internal controls, month-end close, and the continued improvement of accounting systems and processes.
The ideal candidate is more than a traditional accounting manager—they are a hands-on financial leader who understands both accounting and technology. They manage the details, see the bigger picture, challenge

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee General Ledger accounting operations, including Treasury, Fixed Assets, Inventory, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of reporting requirements.
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to provide meaningful insight to leadership.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while promoting accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, automation, and accounting processes.
- Partner with other departments and leadership to resolve issues and support operational and financial objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Hospitality, gaming, or similarly regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and accounting processes.
- Demonstrated success managing month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
- Strong ERP systems experience, including implementation and/or optimization; Workday and BlackLine experience strongly preferred.
- Highly systems savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and leverage technology to improve accounting operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, investigate variances, and develop solutions.
- Deadline-driven and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $101,000 – $112,500 per year + bonus & comprehensive benefits package
